A steatite scarab with hieroglyphs to the reverse, featuring the royal praenomen cartouche of the pharaoh Thutmose III. The cartouche features the recognisable signs of mn-khpr-r’ , transliterated as Menkheperre. Some royal names, of celebrated pharaohs, were used even after their death, to provide protection.
