A rare, in excellent condition and in excellent working order for a 50+ year old watch. The only obvious flaw is a small, chip in the crystal at 7 o'clock.
The chronograph works well with the bright red hand returning to zero, when the pusher at 2 o’clock is pressed.
The internal bezel is adjusted using the crown at 10 o’clock and also turns smoothly. These were very popular watches in the 1960s through to the 70s, but are now getting harder to find in good condition.
The watch is powered by one of Omega’s famous high quality Swiss 865 17 jewels chronograph manual wind movements.
I have added a new black leather rally style strap which works well on a watch of this era.
Case: steel, 41 mm excluding crown.
Crystal: original plexiglas.
Dial: two-tone Slate grey dial with silver/luminous hands, red stopwatch hand and silver applied markers with internal diver's bezel controlled with a pushbutton at 10 o'clock,
Screw in case back marked with waterproof tested 120m (but don’t swim in it!)
5 Omega signs: to dial, case back, crown, glass and movement
