On offer this wonderful French art deco ceiling light in nickel plated solid brass holding a nice bowl in clear frosted moulded-pressed glass representing pine cones. The shade is signed Danyl 65 . Danyl was a small company in Paris making art déco style lighting during the interbellum. Only a few models shades are known with this Danyl signature. It is unknown which glass factory made these shades for danyl. Of this model #65 pinecone bowl re-editions were made in the 80s, these poor looking pieces are either unsigned or signed CSR. The Danyl signed ones are always from the 30s.
The pendant is in good condition. I have renickeled and patinated the fixture. Note the nice matching canopy. The shade has a diameter of 35 cm. And the chandelier has a total height of 38.5 cm. It has a new european E27 socket so it can be used with our normal new generation energy safing bulbs or LEDs. For the US Canada or Japan I will wire it with an American standard socket.
Safe packaging guaranteed : As specialized restorer of French art Deco lighting I sell my lamps online for a fraction of the prices art deco shops sell for. For over 20 years I ship my parcels worldwide with the precious items well protected and fully insured.
