Giuseppe Marinucci was born in 1925 in Ascoli Piceno. Very young, he embarks on the path of art, first as an autodidact, then completing his training at the school of Ghino Sassetti of the Urbino Academy. After the school, he focused on his personal and intimate journey towards the arts. Defined by the critic Aurelio T. Prete as a post-expressionist who crosses the boundaries of a vigorous and composite Expressionism, finding faith in a Modernism that does not betray the figurative intention. Numerous awards for his
artistic merits, including the gold medal of the International Committee for Culture. He is member of the Columbian Accademy of St.Luis – Missuri (U.S.A:) and of Cultural institutions and Academies in Italy and abroad. Many of his artworks are in a permanent exhibition in Europe and worldwide, such as: Galleria Moderna in Palazzo Braschi – Rome; Museo Pa-Uiis – Paris; Gallery Ford – New York; Church of Martinsicuro – Teramo; International Directory of Arts – Berlin. Among his most important collectors are included the Hon. Giulio Andreotti and the painter Paganini Di Roma.
The artwork “Le Ballerine” was exhibited at the Bern Biennial and is published on the artist’s official website and it a unique piece.
