19th-century English-style chess table made of walnut wood with tripod at the base for stability. The table is made by hand carved in fine wood with beautiful finishes in all its rounded angles typical of the Elizabethan style. The four-petal flower shape of the board is of great beauty. We include some pieces of the English Staunton model made of steel and chromed in silver and black pearl. These pieces are perfectly suited to the table and are of a balanced weight with a non-slip base finish to avoid damaging the wood. The set is in good condition although the board has signs of wear due to the passage of time (as shown in the photos).
