Another delightful bed linen and this time in the shape of "wheat sheaves"
on a beautiful 100% cotton. In the early French 20th.C synthetic fibres did not exists and if they did I do not think the average French woman would have touched them, as they loved linen and cotton because they could "boil" them after the beds were made again.
There are 3 rows of generous open thread work. The initials D.G. are well done and of course the design of the wheat sheaves is beautifully embroidered.
Again a real treasure.
