The captain was Kptlt. Alexander Gelhaar.
Sunk on 14 October 1939 in the North Atlantic south-west of Ireland by depth charges. 38 dead.
The city of Kiel took the "Ehrenpatenschaft für den Sohn des Gefallenen"
In the lot there is a big and rare certificate of this on the name of the fallen soldier.
