Mario Ambrosius (* 1959)
also known as an artist "Mario A."
German - Japanese photographer. Study in Berlin, University of the Arts.
Has lived as a photographer in Japan since the mid 1980s. Mario A was the first so-called "Japanese" artist with non-Japanese roots.
Was represented by the prestigious Mizuma Art Gallery, now by Toyama Meguro Office in Japan and Esther Woerdehoff in Europe.
Numerous international exhibitions, e.g. Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo.
