An illustrated first edition copy of Eastern Poetry by Edward Fitzgerald with 16 Willie Pogany attached colour plates - each image with protecting tissue paper, signed in the plate. Hardback cover has gilt title and Persian patterning with the words "Presented by Willie Pogany".
Condition : Top and bottom of spine and corners slightly bumped. Small scuffing on edges, minor foxing in places. It should be noted that the book has been sensitively made using hand made crinkled edged unbleached paper. The contents have been written in an unusual artistic calligraphy style signed at the end Jamam Shad.
