Chondrites are called so because they have chondrules, tiny spheres that are considered the first solid material of the Solar System. They also have tiny but visible particles of iron.
NWA 2510 is an heterogeneous chondrite meteorite. It has been classified as an L3-6 type. In the same piece, amazing clear chondrules can be seen together with areas of very metamorphosed chondrules.
This specimen is a nice example of what a chondrite looks like inside. Moreover it is analyzed and classified in the Meteoritical Bulletin. It was bought to a Moroccan dealer in November 20th, 2018 in Morocco.
It is presented as a full slice in a collection box.
Weight is 10,5 grams.
Certificate of authenticity included.
Packages are usually sent the morning after the auction. Shipping is combined in all my listings - if you win multiple items, only one shipping cost is paid.
