An old, unusual and imaginative decorative teapot carved from a single bamboo root and uses the shoots of the root as handles and a spout.
The teapot is intended for decorative use . The interior has been carved out and would hold little water.
There are three age cracks to the bamboo. There are two on one side of the body and one to the opposite side. They don’t go all of the way through. There is no lid and may not have had one.
