Julien Le Roy (1686-1759) was a French watchmaker
At the age of 13, Le Roy built his first clock. In the same year (1699), he moved to Paris to gain his title of master craftsman. He became juré of the Paris watchmakers' guild, director of the Société des Arts and Horloger Ordinaire du Roi. His watches can be found in various museums around the world.
