This brooch was made in the goldsmith workshops of Torre del Greco (Naples, Italy), in the 1970s.
It is part of a series of objects which are reproduce jewellery from the Bourbon Kingdom.
This one in particular has been embellished with a handmade chiselled finish on both ends.
With an oval inserted at the centre which bears, as a main stone, a blue sapphire weighing 0.5 ct with a first outline of rosette cut diamonds, and a second still with blue round sapphires.
The stones are set on an 800 silver base.
The back of the brooch has a safety clasp.
