Herman Busquet - Hala Zeist - Desk lamp.
Design from the 1940's by Herman Theodoor Jan Anthoin Busquet for Hala Zeist. Model 147.
Circa 1930, Busquet became the head of design at Hala, one of the first lighting manufacturers in the Netherlands.
Influenced by 'De Stijl' and 'Bauhaus', the designs are very modest and 'form follows function'.
Busquet worked for Hala until 1955 and died in Amsterdam in 1977.
This lamp dates from the 1950's - 1960's.
Lampshade made of painted aluminium.Two parallel rods support the shade. The height of the shade is adjustible.

E27 bakelite lamp socket, cord with bakelite plug, length +/- 100 cm.
Very nice vintage condition. A small dent on the back side of the shade. See picture.
Tested and works well.
