This beautiful piece is originated from the 70's DDR era and it was found
hanging in an old locksmith workshop that has been abandoned for decades.
After that it has been cleaned and professionally restored to it's current high standard.
These fixtures were manufactured by the former East Germany company VEB Leuchtenbau Wittenberg and were used in laboratories and industrial plants especially in areas of danger of explosion.
This extraordinary lamp comprises a one-centimeter thick glass tube and two aluminium ends witch can be hanged from the ceiling.
It is designed to be explosion- splash- and dustproof.
