Travel clock that is called "doucine" or "conopial" because of the shape of the case, which combines curves in the opposite direction, right and left. It mounts a French-made Couaillet movement, probably from the late 19th century, as indicated by the characteristic arrow of the brand.
In the enamel of the dial, which has a crack on the upper right angle, it reads "Valenciennes". The bevelled crystals are in good condition, as shown in the photos, which are part of the description. The case has not been cleaned or polished in order to maintain the patina. Both the handle and the door are well fit. The number 114 is present in the elements of the door, on the box and on the inner side of the 4 vertical mullions.
Both the clock and the alarm work with great precision.
