A lovely illustrated edition, published in Paris in 1930 by Éditions du Trianon. Containing numerous illustrations by Joseph Hémard, in half morocco binding with strips, with ribbed spine and gilded upper edge.
A well preserved set: spines insolated along the length with some friction from use on the crowns. Sound hinges. Fresh inside, without foxing.

Joseph Hémard was a French cartoonist and illustrator born 2 August 1880 in Mureaux (Yvelines) and died in 14th arrondissement of Paris on 9 August 1961.
