The works of the young, Upper Austrian artist Paul Kranzler deal with his neighbours Toni and Aloisia, with their substandard rooms in a residential building in Linz, with the loss of control of a "normal life". The central invitation to Kranzler's photographs is: Nothing to reject. His pictures are social documents, but Kranzler did not photograph as an outsider in foreign milieus, but took part in this life. "I was simply the boy who took photos."
