Topographic Dutch 19th Century "Fil De Soie", Silk Embroidery (circa 1825-1850): view of Haarlem, Netherlands. With in the background the St. Bavo Church Haarlem.

A very beautiful and impressive "Fil De Soie" art piece. A silk intricately embroidered with silk threads creating a stunning work, housed in a wood frame. Wonderful bright color.
The sky with clouds is hand-painted watercolor.
This "Fil De Soie", Silk embroidered there is only one, (unica, museum piece).
It is made according to the famous drawing of Hermanus Numan 1744-1820.
Overall in good condition, small spots due to ageing in the fabric.
Framed under glass, with the original frame.
