Spectacular table-top mirror stereoscope by Carl Zeiss Jena, with wooden box and instruction manual dating back to the first half of 1900.
It features a lens system whose distance must be adjustable to adapt to the user’s interpupillary distance, lenses suitable to deflect the visual rays to make them parallel, mirrors with a reflective silver coating on the front surface of the crystal (rectified to avoid image deformation), adaptability of the instrument to surfaces that are not perfectly flat. One of the four feet is equipped with a mechanism to reach the plane set by the other three.
Equipped with two pairs of magnifying eyepieces (3.5 x 15).
