It is probably an Italian opera glass from the 1920s. It has no punch, no logo and no marker, but there are some reasons for it.
The workmanship, the individual design. Because here a man has had a glass made individually for his sweetheart.
Because this flower decoration is not a mass-produced product, but a custom-made product. The bag for this is not from the 1920s but from the 1950s, but originally from Italy, which is another indication of its origin.
The glass is okay, but a little hard to use and slightly deformed. The glasses are free of dust, mould and fungal infestation.
The focus works and is sharp but due to the lack of seals somewhat shaky and difficult to use.
The glass is made of brass and is studded with mother-of-pearl. It weighs 0.188 kg and is 10 cm wide, 6 cm high and 3 cm deep.
The bag is clean, intact and works impeccably. It is made of velvet and inside silk and sewn with silver thread. The glass fits super in and the tank chain is easy to adjust.
Together they give off a great duo. Look at the pictures and judge for yourself.
An eye-catcher definitely and a must for collectors.
Have fun bidding.
