The Condor Ic is the latest evolution of the Condor I series, which went into production in 1948 and was replaced in 1952 by the Condor II, but will continue to be produced in Florence until 1956.
The body is of satin brass, the same material used for the “sisters” of the Wetzlar company. It is a very compact and well-assembled (very solid!) model with a sober and elegant design, a feature that characterises all devices in the Galileo series. On the upper part you can see the pantographed inscription “Condor I”.
Wonderful Eliog lens with three lenses (retractable according to the Elmar model) produced by Officine Galileo in various versions and with different apertures. The latest version boasts an opening up to f/2.8.
