Reflex film camera PETRI FTE from 1973
complete with lens Petri 55 mm CC Auto f 1: 2
This Petri FTE from 1973 features dedicated EE lenses that allow it to work in automatic mode with shutter speed priority driven by the TTL photocell.
It is like all the cameras of the period, very sturdy, but at the same time the quality of the materials used is exceptional and the design is particularly complex and well cared for. In fact, it is equipped with a unique cocking system, based on a cam and a cone cogwheel which is located under the bottom of the camera. This system not only controls the mirror and shutter, it also controls the automatic opening of the diaphragms.
Curtain shutter on the focal plane with speed from 1/2 to 1/500 s, and B mode.
In short, a rare camera, simple to use thanks to its automatic operation, but it can work
even without batteries in fully manual mode, giving great satisfaction to the enthusiastic lover of vintage products.
Complete with its 55 mm f2.
Everything is in excellent condition. The camera is mechanically perfect but I couldn’t test the light meter for lack of a proper battery.
