Raadvad was established in 1758, becoming famous from the 19th century for knives, blades and kitchen implements. Raadvad's iconic bread slicer has been produced for over a century, becoming a Danish design classic. No longer in production, you can still own one of these machines.
This one was produced in the 1970s-1980s according to the original mid-century design.
The original white paint is in fine condition, showing only light patina (photos). The blade is good, with a few nicks that do not mar its appearance or function. It can slice breads (including rye), cheese, soap, fruits or flowers. Or it can be used as a book rack or as an unusual decoration, at home, or in a shop, cafe or restaurant.
Sent fully assembled, ready for use.
