In the small painted scenes of the ceilings of Brescia, an original dimension unfolds continuously in a galaxy of symbols, mirror of civilisations and epochs. It is, in fact, a trend of taste and style, to which most of the buildings of the period conform.
The alternating wooden beam system showed high standards of stability and safety.
Skilled carpenters and bricklayers made the structure. The panels, made separately in the workshop, were therefore arranged with skill in the appropriate joints. And this technical evolution is respected even in the homes of the Brescia area, as in other Lombard cities.
