Officer’s pistol, privately made, circa 1850, 17.1 mm calibre
Marked Paul BOITARD gunsmith in Saint ETIENNE, FRANCE, from 1852 to 1880.
In perfect working condition, very good overall condition.
Octagonal barrel, excellent grooves, frame with no gridding, with a slight joint at the top and right of the barrel.
the fittings are made of steel, the trigger guard has a finger rest, the butt cap with ring, appears to include a housing for the gun-butt.
