An expressive Dan mask, a highly impressive carved design, beautifully carved, very expressive.
Signs of wear with a good patina on all parts including the inner surface.
An exceptionally beautiful mask, richly decorated with many and varied elements.
Material: wood, metal rivets (cheeks), bulging fabric with cowry shells, straw (chin), metal bells
Condition: signs of wear and tear, dark patina, small cracks, chipped at the edge of the mask (see photos)
Height: approx. 26 cm, width: approx. 16 cm, depth: approx. 11 cm (only the wooden section).
The mask is supplied without base.
