Exceptional large pair of green hardstone vases from China. Beautiful pearlescent hints. Finely carved designs of taoties and plants. Handles and moving rings. Gadrooned fretel.
They come in their silk-lined case, with custom-made wooden stands.
Period: second half of the 20th century, post-1960.
In good condition. One vase in perfect condition. The other one has a small chip in the lid.

Origin: English collection from the Manchester area, acquired in 1997.
