An exquisite Lady Hamilton decanter. Moser, mid 20th century. 27 cm in height. Not signed nor marked. The stopper is grounded to fit the decanter perfectly, with matching numbers 7.
The pattern of this decanter is an example of the 'papal' cut so-called because it is a derivative of the Pope pattern and its defining panel cuts. The Pope pattern was commissioned by Pope Pius XI in 1923. The Lady Hamilton decanter was first produced in 1934. The carafe is mouth-blown crystal glass with wide facets ground on the neck and lower body.
In excellent condition. The pictures are part of the description. This lot will be sent via registered mail.
