This timepiece was manufactured circa 1950.
Watch size: 36 mm with crown, 33 mm without crown Weight: 40 g

Case with screw-down case back.

Original gold-plated dial. Gold-coloured baton and dot markers - Black external minute scale with applied Arabic numerals at every 5th minute. Gold-coloured steel spear hands. Large central second hand. Branded ‘Tissot automatic’ and ‘Swiss’ under 6 o'clock.

Silver-coloured smooth winding crown.

Fire-gilded automatic movement calibre 28.52 stamped under the balance. Signed CHS Tissot & Fils Seventeen 17 Jewels Swiss 1838587. Chatons, gold wheels and ruby bearing stones in gold setting.

The movement works.

Screw-down case back. Depiction of a ship on the outside. ‘Automatic non magnetic shock absorber Tissot Swiss waterproof’. On the inside: Acier inoxydable CHS TISSOT & CIE company brand 6546 1 patent (Swiss cross)

Dark brown leather strap, 17 mm wide at the lugs. Total length: 23 cm (adjustable).

The watch is in the original condition it has been not refurbished and therefore has signs of wear.
