Embleem / Mascotte - Rintintin - Varnier - 1920-1930

Coated bronze mascot made by artist Varnier in 1925, France. It is mounted on a wooden base, in very good condition. The mascot is shown in the book ‘Mascottes Automobiles’ by Michel Legrand with no. 742 and called ‘Rintintin’ . The artist’s signature is engraved on the back of the dog’s neck. From what I could find in the bibliography, I think the object is original of the time.
