Jaeger-LeCoultre is a Swiss watchmaker. The company is based in Le Sentier, Switzerland, where it was initially founded in 1833 under the name LeCoultre (until 1937). 1937: merger of Jaeger and LeCoultre.
Rare large Memovox alarm watch with date and grey-orange dial.

Interesting original dial - grey. Silver-coloured baton indices. Silver-coloured steel hands. Large central second hand - orange hands. Orange inner ring for alarm setting - white alarm hand. Signed JAEGER LECOULTRE Automatic. ‘SWISS MADE’ underneath six o'clock. Date at three o'clock.
Two crowns for time and alarm.
Screwed back lid.
Interesting calibre 916 (manufacture calibre Speedbeat) - hallmarked - 21012255 Silver-coloured dial inscribed LECOULTRE Co Swiss Seventeen Jewels Adjusted three positions.
The movement works.
On the outside of the back lid 1298396 inside LE COULTRE Co SWISS ACIER INOXYDABLE E 871.
The watch is in original condition. It has not been refinished and is in very beautiful used condition.
Original steel strap 20 mm - length with watch 20 cm - the links are removable
