Ger Groeneveld: (Heerlen, 1948) is a Dutch painter. He studied at the Arts Academy in Maastricht.
Over the years Groeneveld has mastered all facets and techniques of painting. From impressionism to airbrush, from classic to abstract.
He participated in many exhibitions worldwide, in Japan, Germany, Belgium, England, The United States and The Netherlands. Due to the deepening in cultures and religion, his paintings are full of symbolism and visual language, which can be interpreted by the viewer in it's own way. This combined with his brilliant use of color are a fascination for many.
Groeneveld is also very skilled in portraying people, some of his great famous portraits include; Princes Diana, Nelson Mandela. H.R.H. Prince Bernard en The three Dutch Queens of the Twentieth Century.
