Pair of cherubs, presumably from Lombardy, finely carved in walnut wood with (later) application of gold leaf in some characterising areas (sphere, drapery).
From a private collection, average recent restoration of the golden patina, small repairs of cracks and some missing chips (little finger of a hand and small fragments of plaster and gold leaf coating).
They probably had classic wings in the past, as shown by the wooden inserts on the back of both figures. Received in their current condition.
